Snoop Dogg has responded to the backlash he has faced following his decision to perform at an event held in honor of President Donald Trump.
Full story below…
The West Coast rapper answered “all the hate with love” in a video posted to Instagram claiming that he is:
“Still a Black man. Still 100% Black.”
The hate in question stems from his performance at President Trump’s Crypto Ball on January 20 which is an event that celebrated the political polarizer’s inauguration.
Snoop’s controversial choice to perform for the 47th President was one that shocked fans and the Instagram video gained ample negativity because of that.
The rapper also stated in his clapback video:
“I’m a strong Black man. I’m cut from a different cloth. Can’t tear me down”
It appears fans still have their opinions about the star’s actions and have expressed them in his comments.

Snoop is an awesome entertainer. Performing at the Presidential inauguration doesn’t mean he is in agreement with Trump’s policies or politics. I don’t agree totally with the Republicans or the Democrats and if I was a performer I would have performed at the Presidential inauguration of either candidate. The only way to affect change is by being fair and impartial, showing respect even if you don’t agree.
