Thanks to new television, movie, touring, and music ventures, the 2025 Ashanti takeover is about to be in full effect.
Nearly two years after announcing her involvement in the new film ‘No Address,’ the GRAMMY-winning singer-actor has unveiled ‘Bonafide Survivor‘ – the first taste of music from the movie’s official soundtrack.
“Cause I’ma be stronger and wiser / I’m a fighter / Said I’m a bonafide survivor / ‘Cause I’m a bonafide survivor,” she sings over a piano-driven beat.
Arrived to digital shelves Friday (February 7), the “new” song – which was originally found on 2014’s ‘Braveheart‘ album but revamped for the upcoming film – can also be heard in ‘Address’ when the movie comes to theaters on February 28.

Elsewhere in Ashanti news, the glowing mom-of-one – who is gearing up for a new family reality show with husband Nelly and son Kareem set to debut later this year – is readying a return to the United Kingdom alongside 2000’s hitmakers Sean Paul courtesy of the ‘Bring It Tour.’
Tapping her ‘What’s Luv?’ co-star Fat Joe to accompany on select dates, the jaunt is scheduled to kick off in Dublin on April 8 before venturing to major U.K. markets like Glasgow, London, Birmingham, and Manchester ahead of wrapping up in Bournemouth on April 24.
