As depicted in the music video for his latest smash single, ‘4×4,’ superstar rapper Travis Scott is indeed the champ.
Amply teased ahead of its January 24 arrival, Scott’s ‘4×4‘ blasted to the top of the current Hot 100 thanks to a handsome streaming, radio, and sales combination (fueled mostly by the latter).
- Sales = 167,000 digital downloads and physical copies sold
- Streams = 16.2 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio airplay = 2.9 million audience impressions
The 82nd no. 1 debut in the 66-year history of the Hot 100, ‘4×4’ is uniquely the first song of 2025 to premiere atop the all-genre chart.
What’s more, it marks the fifth time of Scott’s career he’s owned the position following 2020’s ‘Franchise’ and ‘The Scotts,’ 2019’s ‘Highest in the Room,’ and 2018’s ‘Sicko Mode.’
The song’s huge opening figure can be attributed to the promotion of the proceeds of its CD single directly benefitting Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund.
Thanks in great part to the aforementioned, ‘4×4’ debuted with the highest first-week physical sales of any single released since 2020.

💯
So if the wildfire wouldn’t have happened this song wouldn’t have debuted at number one?? OK
Travis and his team always use fishy tactics and cheats to get a number 1 single or album.
OMG FOR REALLLL.. once a cheater, always a cheater
I guess doing demonic rituals, and sacrificing one’s own concert goers is good for the career. 💅🏾
