Rihanna is readying new music. And while she gears up for what she says will be her most unexpected release yet, the Bajan belle is reflecting on her discography to date.
In words that may surprise the masses, she has revealed that much of her music ignites feelings of “shame” – besides 2016’s ‘ANTI.’

As reported, RiRi appears on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine and opens up about her journey, successes, challenges, and the future.
Within the feature, the superstar – whose music has spanned R&B, Pop, and Dance – says of her previous material:
“I listen to Anti from top to bottom with no shame. I used to always have shame. I actually don’t like listening to my music, but Anti—I can listen to the album. It’s like it’s not me singing it, if I’m just listening to it. That’s the one album that I can have an out-of-body experience where it’s not like … You know when you hear your voice in a voicemail, and it’s like, ‘Ugh.’ ”
It’ll be interesting to see where her new music places – both in her eyes and the eyes of the masses.

Rih said something similar about 10 years ago… Rihanna’s music, and especially singles lack Depth & Musicality.
Sounds to me that both Rihanna and her critics know that her music is 100% Good but also 90% MICROWAVED. Only Rihanna fans don’t realize that Rihanna’s music lacks depth which explains the mere 1 grammy per album rate and Anti, the best one, didn’t even win 1 🤣.

Just like Beyonce. Difference is Rih knew how to pick the right tracks for her voice. At least the team did. Rated R and Loud are memorable albums to me and I was no big fan. Beyonce has a very low, deep, husky voice and always chose the right material post early early material. If she’s not stealing someone’s songs she’s clueless. Her music is hot trash.

Hate when artists do this but in her case I get it cause I would bury my head in the sand too if the screechy vocals in “Unfaithful” were mine lol Anti is a great record but so is Unapologetic and at least on the latter she wasn’t emulating Kanye H1tl3r vocals

Well considering the fact that she’s hands off when it comes to her “artistry” I’m not surprised. Not like she can sing, write, produce, dance or play an instrument and as we all see she can’t dress either (without the help of top stylists that she doesn’t seem to have anymore).
Sorry hunnie, Anti is the only album that I entirely skipped 💅🏽🗑️💩. From music of the sun to loud are masterpieces. S unapologetic is where she starts dropping balls
You had me listening to music of the sun for first time, surprisingly I would rate it a 7 out of 10. Never heard of any1 calling it a MASTERPIECE tho 🤣 but that is why I listened. 🎶
