Dawn Robinson Slams En Vogue AGAIN, Wants Rhona Out for Reunion

Published: Wednesday 26th Mar 2025 by Sam

Former En Vogue star Dawn Robinson hit the headlines this month when she revealed that she is homeless and has been living in her car for three years.

The news shocked many given the enomity group’s success.

It also led to renewed calls from fans for Robinson to be welcomed back aboard, despite voluntarily leaving multiple times.

As reported, the 58-year-old has stressed that she has no intention of returning to En Vogue.

And now, in a new interview on Way Up With Angela Yee, Robinson not only doubled down on her stance – she threw a few more jabs at her former bandmates Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron, as well as replacement Rhona Bennett.

Full story below…

Speaking with host Angela Yee, Robinson was quizzed about whether the group has reached out to her since the homelessness reveal.

Shooting the notion down, she reaffirmed that she would “not deal with their shenanigans again.”

From there, she went on to reiterate her long-peddled narrative of the group signing what she felt were bad deals that no one “with a brain in their head” would ink.

That’s not all.

Robinson also unpacked why she is sticking by her historical stance that she won’t return to En Vogue if Bennett is still in the mix. She told Yee:

“Rhona hasn’t brought a hit to you guys. Not one. Maxine and I bring hits. I sing [lead on] the biggest hit we have. C’mon.”

Yikes!

I agree with her but at the same time Rhona is consistent and stable while Dawn isn’t. Why bring someone back to a group who’s known for random knee-jerk behavior when things don’t go her way? As much as I miss the original 4, I don’t blame them for not ruining their bag for this type of personality.

Dawn has that Tamar spirit. Leave her be.

Best of luck to the four girls.

    beggars can’t be choosers, dawn

Dawn is bat s*** crazy! Rhona stepped away from EV several times for the originals to reunite just for Dawn to bail EVERY….SINGLE….TIME….!!! These women are Senior citizens now and don’t have time to play around with a space cadet like Dawn. Either she’s in or she’s out. Her choice….!!!!

Oh for real? I never knew Rhona did that…wow…very gracious of her

Rhona was told to step out by Terry and Cindy because the deals offered were for the original 4 members only. It wasn’t her choice to step out, that was Terry and Cindy’s decision.

At this point Rhonda has been in the group for a longer period than Dawn!

Like Lil’ mo said on R&B Divas: LA, “bring Cindy and Terry, the real En Vogue”

      WHO IS RHONA?

She wasn’t there for anything. Nobody knows her. She’s a karaoke singer! She’s not an original.

Dawn, Terri, Cindy and Maxine made that group a success, why does a replacement who brought zero to the table get to refuse to step out? It’s not her group.

I agree with Dawn. I prefer the original 4 that I listened to in college. I will always only associate the original 4 as the real En Vogue. Rhoda wasnt there for any of their hit songs. Dawn sang lead on my favorite EV song, Don’t Let Go. Her voice can’t be beat or replaced. But unfortunately I don’t think a reunion of just the original 4 will ever happen. It’s like Shalamar with Jody Watley, they’ll never work it out, very disappointing but sometimes that’s just how the cookie crumbles.

I agree. Rhona is a seat killer. En Vogue is Dawn, Max, Cindy and Terry!

I have never heard of this Rhona woman, she’s not apart of the En Vogue I grew up with.

Good for her she been employed for decades with them, yet nobody knows her. Step out, let us have the nostalgia of the women who sung them hits, Rhona is not it.
