JAY-Z’s R*pe Accuser “Stands By” Dropped Assault Claims As Her Lawyer Slams Rapper’s “Baloney” Defamation Suit Against Them

JAY-Z’s effort to restore his “impeccable and lifetime-earned character” after last year’s headline-grabbing sexual assault allegations took a shocking turn this week when the rapper-mogul took to Alabama federal court on Monday (March 3) to not only sue the accusatory “Jane Doe” but also her lawyer Tony Buzbee.

Branding the original suit a “depraved attack,” Jay (born Shawn Carter) slammed the attorney-client duo with claims of malicious prosecution, civil conspiracy, abuse of process, and defamation.

Once the press got ahold of the legal filing, Buzbee quickly issued a statement in response to the hoopla. Look inside to see what he said.

Taking to Billboard, Tony not only slammed Jay’s suit as “baloney” but also asserted the rapper’s team has employed intimidation tactics to get the woman to recant.

“This case is baloney and has no legal merit. Shawn Carter’s investigators have repeatedly harassed, threatened and harangued this poor woman for weeks trying to intimidate her and make her recant her story. She won’t,” he said. “Instead she has stated repeatedly she stands by her claims. These same group of investigators have been caught on tape offering to pay people to sue me and my firm. This is just another attempt to intimidate and bully this poor woman that we will deal with in due course.”

The “Jane Doe,” who accused Carter and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of sexually assaulting her as a teenager over 20 years ago, is standing by her allegations despite filing to drop the case due to inconsistencies.

“Although I ultimately chose not to pursue them, I stand by my claims in the New York Action and believe that I had a meritorious claim against Jay-Z,” she said in a declaration signed Thursday (February 27) before explaining why she dropped her pursuit of justice. “I was not prepared to undergo years of attacks, intimidation, and harassment, and ultimately chose to dismiss my claims after certain negotiations among the attorneys involved in the New York Action.”

JAY and his legal team are still seeking a jury trial that would award them damages after the rapper-mogul claims he suffered emotional harm, humiliation, and harassment as well as saw his businesses hit with losses in excess of $20 million.

I can’t say if she’s lying or not. But in the court of law – if you have no proof, you have no case. Her attorney presented no evidence that even a civil jury could remotely analyze and weigh in on.

What evidence can she have though? I believe her

After so many years later I don’t know what kind of evidence anyone would have in a case like this. If she’s telling the truth I can’t imagine how powerless she must feel right now.

First at that age, why no police report, hospital report-r*** test done. If her father -parent don’t recall and with her being underage and out at that time calling for a ride home and being r*** do lead to needing help-period. I called cap-BS and Shawn Carter needs to do what he’s doing. People is so obsessed with hatred toward both Shawn-(Jay z) and Beyoncé it is so annoying/
