Lady Gaga and Katy Perry may have a complicated history, but for the latter that ‘Prism‘ / ‘ArtPop‘-era beef is ancient history.
Evidence of such came via a recent interview featuring the #KatyCat leader in which she gave her former nemesis some astounding praise for her latest hit single ‘Abracadabra.’

As she gears up for the late April kickoff of her forthcoming ‘Lifetimes Tour,’ Perry is pounding the promo trail in support of the global jaunt.
Her latest celebratory stop came courtesy of a visit to ‘Billboard’ to chat about the international affair and tease what her beloved fans (affectionately called #KatyCats) can expect from the show when it comes to a stage near them, even boasting the setlist will be career-spanning and feature everything from major hits to deep cuts.
When quizzed on if there are any other Pop stars she’s drawn inspiration from ahead of the ‘Lifetimes’ launch, Perry pounced to praise Gaga.
“I love seeing shows, and I’ve seen a lot this year. Everyone is inspired by everyone,” Katy shared with resident anchor Tetris Kelly. “Even when [Lady Gaga’s] ‘Abracadabra’ came out, I was like ‘yes, go girl!’ When female Pop stars win, we all win. And, they all make us raise to that level of work and giving.”
