King Charles III is showing off his musical side! The monarch has revealed a playlist of his favorite tracks in honor of Commonwealth Day. And he tallied material comprised of hits from music’s biggest legends – including a certain royal.

Among the standout selections on the tally? Beyonce‘s iconic 2003 smash ‘Crazy in Love’. On the Apple Music show ‘The King’s Music Room’ The King praised Queen Bey as:
“…a performer so exceptional that I just could not resist including her music.”
There is a history between the King and this song and it holds special meaning as Beyonce performed it at the Prince’s Trust Fashion Rocks concert the year it was released. He also congratulated her on her recent Album of the Year GRAMMY win for ‘Cowboy Carter.’
The royal playlist also included a nod to the likes of Kylie Minogue, Bob Marley, Diana Ross, and Michael Bublé.
With Beyonce set to bring the ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ to London this June, it looks like the Queen will be making waves across the UK once again in a major.
