The Houston native has been tapped to serve as the musical guest on the April 12 episode of SNL.
Lizzo will appear for the fourth time on the show, alongside guest host Jon Hamm.
The news comes on the heels of the release of the Houston native’s latest single, ‘Still Bad.’

This return to the spotlight follows a challenging period for Lizzo after a 2023 lawsuit from a sect of her former dancers leveled several accusations at her and her business operation. These included claims of sexual harrassment and creating a hostile work environment.
Ever resilient, Lizzo took to X (formerly Twitter) this week and wrote:
“What happened to me was supposed to destroy me but it has only set me free.”
In more exciting news for fans of the performer, she announced that her new album is complete.
Sharing a shot of herself in the studio, she gushed:
“ALBUM IS DONE YALL! ASTROLOGY EXPERTS Do my mercury got micro braids? Cus I got an emergency root canal, announced SNL & finished my album all in one day today.”
