The R&B chanteuse has unwrapped her new single ‘Bae,’ which serves as the first taste of her first album in over a decade.
Hilson magnetized the attention of the masses with news of her return to the spotlight with surprise digital series ‘We Need To Talk.’ which saw her illuminate the reasons for her hiatus.
Now, she’s letting the music steer the conversation.
‘Bae,’ which Hilson penned herself, is a breezy midtempo groove that is built around a sample of Hurricane Chris‘ ‘Aye Baybay.’ Lyrically, it finds her “high off love,” professing her affection for her “bae.”
