With the world collecting its breath after Kendrick Lamar‘s blazing Super Bowl Halftime Show, the NFL is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the spectacle came to fruition.
In a 30-minute documentary special, the curtain is lifted to showcase the huge amounts of collaboration that went into putting the performance together.
From staging to props to other core elements, it quite literally took a small village to mold the monumental showing.
As reported, Lamar has benefitted in earnest from the platform.
Indeed, sales of his ‘GNX’ album (which had already topped the charts prior to rocking the stage) have soared, international dates of ‘Grand National Tour’ with SZA have sold out and spawned additional shows, and he’s nabbed another #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘luther.’
