Ester Dean has stepped up and out as the writer of the ill-fated Beyonce diss released by Keri Hilson in 2011.
R&B belle Hilson made headlines today (April 9) when she stopped by The Breakfast Club and opened up in earnest about the inner workings of the ‘Turnin’ Me On’ remix diss.
Waxing candid, the singer-songwriter claimed she was effectively forced to record the track by producer Polow Da Don. She also shared that his then-protegee penned her controversial verse.
Now, Dean has signified herself as the latter.

Taking to Instagram, Dean confirmed herself as the “mystery” writer in a series of posts.
See what we mean…
She wrote:
“I submitted a lot of verses for that remix-one got picked, and it was co-written with Keri. Looking back, it was childish and didn’t age well. I see how it hurt people, especially women, and I take full accountability.
I’ve worked with and supported many women since, but that doesn’t erase the moment. I’m sorry for my part in it. Growth is real, and so is this apology.”
Wow.

That remix was released in 2009 not 2011. And keri’s decline came from releasing TRASH music in general, not just the remix 🤣
No, it happened because people in the industry didn’t want to work with her, they were afraid that it will look as if they take the side of Keri “against” Beyonce. She got threats that they will ruin her career and that’s exactly what happened.
Facts you need only look at the features and production between the first album and second and you see it. I do hope she makes a comeback and that this goes well for her.
Why saying sorry? I mean the woke moment folks are approved Black women diss other Black women. They only attack the one who are outside their races
Keri says she didn’t write it. Ester says they co-wrote it. So what is the truth?
