‘I Just Died‘ hitmaker Amerie had fans saying just that at confirmed news she’s set to bring her brigade of R&B hits to a future episode of NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’ concert series.
Amerie is wasting little time blazing the promo trail in support of her March 28-released comeback single ‘Mine‘ – her first new song (as a leading act) in 7 years!
As rave reviews roll in for the track slated to be on her forthcoming album due later this year, the 2-time GRAMMY nominee is gearing up to give ‘Mine’ its first live performance as she readies her inaugural appearance on NPR’s wildly popular concert series ‘Tiny Desk.’
Taking to social media on Wednesday (April 9), the ‘1 Thing‘ songstress confirmed her upcoming visit to the platform.
“I’m doing Tiny Desk with the incomparable Backyard Band,” she shared on her Instagram stories. “What songs do you want us to perform?”
The news will undoubtedly satiate many R&B lovers who have long called for Amerie to grace ‘Tiny Desk’ with live showings of her hits like ‘1 Thing,’ ‘Why Don’t We Fall In Love,’ ‘Talkin to Me,’ and more.
At writing, she’s not announced the official date of her appearance.

I like Amerie. I just can’t think of enough songs for a set. Unless she does new songs too. Tinashe’s tiny desk, hmmm the song choices were interesting. Maybe not the best platform for her and this is coming from a fan. What about Ashanti or Mya, they have more songs, NPR should invite them. Anyway, maybe Amerie could read pages from her book in between songs
