Tamar Braxton is back with new song ‘You on You,’ and it was definitely worth the wait!
Originally due on digital shelves April 11, Braxton revealed the new track was delayed a week due to clearance issues of its sample of the 1987 Suzanne Vega classic ‘Tom’s Diner.’
Arriving as promised on Friday (April 18), the new song sees the GRAMMY nominee flex her revenge skills in the sexiest manner.
“Can you tell me what you’re seeing / When I show you this mirror? / I can’t blame you for leaving / But I can’t be any clearer / I know you’re in your feelings / And I bet it feel familiar / But you still don’t have a clue / I just pulled a you on you (I just pulled a you on you),” she sings over Tricky Stewart production.
The first taste of new music to come from her long-awaited new album, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Bluebird of Happiness,’ hop inside to get acquainted with the latest from Tamar.
