Naysayers who bet money that ‘Million Dollar Baby‘ performer Tommy Richman would be a two-hit wonder after his 2024 breakout smashes ‘Baby’ and ‘Devil Is a Lie‘ are set to be proven liars yet again.
Richman’s pushback against the sentiment was the inspiration behind his latest single ‘Actin Up.’
“[It’s] a statement piece made a few months ago as an act of frustration and feeling underestimated; it’s an anthem that speaks about giving an underdog a chance,” he said about the Jonah Roy and Kavi-produced bop.
And though ‘Actin Up’ is blowing up on social media (namely Tik Tok), the song has yet to crack the Hot 100 – a status undoubtedly set to change thanks to help from Rap polarizer Sexyy Red.
