Sean Kingston is back on home turf – but don’t get it twisted, the heat is still on.

After failing to post his $100,000 bond earlier this week, the ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer was briefly behind bars at the Federal Detention Center in Miami. Now his lawyer, Zeljka Bozanic, confirms to TMZ that:
“Mr. Kingston’s bond has been posted and he is the process of being released.”
He’s headed back to home detention, complete with GPS monitoring and a passport surrender.
In case you missed it, Kingston and his mom, Janice Turner, were found guilty on all five counts in a federal wire fraud case. They were accused of scamming over $1 million worth of luxury goods – including a $160K Escalade and nearly half a mil in jewelry.
With sentencing set for July, Kingston could be looking at 20 years per count. The clock is ticking, and time will tell how this will turn out.
