The rapper is facing serious allegations from her child’s grandmother, Nicole Barnes, who claims that Sexyy Red sent her fans to attack her at home.
According to legal documents filed on March 31, Barnes alleges that in December 2024, Sexyy shared her address and incited her massive social media following, urging them to “kick in the door” of Barnes’ home and cause harm to her and her family.
Barnes says she took the threats so seriously that she relocated from her Hazelwood, Missouri home for safety, but has struggled to find an affordable place to live.
She also reports attending therapy sessions and says she’s living in constant fear for her safety.
Barnes is suing for assault and infliction of emotional distress, seeking over $5 million in damages.
As of now, the femcee’s team has not responded to the lawsuit.
