Songstress Savage just kicked off her long-awaited R&B era with ‘You 4 Me,’ a sensual slow jam lifted from her upcoming fourth studio album ‘This One Is Personal’.
Produced by Mystro, the track reimagines Tamia‘s 90s classic ‘So Into You’ with a velvety twist that’s all Savage – rich, romantic, and rooted in nostalgia.
And it shows, From her Brandy-esque tone to the Mary J. Blige soul, ‘You 4 Me’ is a love letter to the genre, but make no mistake, this isn’t a throwback cosplay. It’s a reinvention.
After years of pushing boundaries in Afrobeats, Savage is making space for her softer side and taking up all the room. The vocals? Butter. The vibe? Immaculate. And the message? This one’s personal. The album will be released later this year.
