Cassie‘s mother, Regina Ventura, delivered an emotional testimony in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs explosive sex trafficking trial.

Taking to the stand today (May 20), Ventura recalled the harrowing 2011 email from her R&B singer daughter, alleging Diddy threatened to leak explicit footage after learning she was dating Kid Cudi. She told jurors:
“I was physically sick. I did not understand it, the sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my daughter.”
Ventura revealed Diddy demanded $20,000 to withhold the footage. To meet the demand, Ventura says the family took out a home equity loan.
Further shaking the room, she described photographing Cassie’s bruises that same year to document the alleged abuse, stating:
“She was bruised and I wanted to make sure we memorialize it.”
Diddy, facing multiple charges including sex trafficking and coercion, has pleaded not guilty. His legal team declined to cross-examine Ventura, her chilling testimony met with silence from the defense.

Ok….I’m getting a little tired of the Cassie Trial. Is this a trial Diddy vs Cassie. I feel bad for what happened to her and no woman should endure that. BUT….She did say, she started some of the fights, she was addicted to the lifestyle and drugs, and she walked away with 30 million. Get to the point of the trial!
This is the point of the trial. S** trafficking, abuse, extortion, r@p3, racketeering, kidnapping… just to name a few! The feds are BUILDING that case. Tired of it then tune out. It’s that simple!

@Tim, it does seem that way. For those of us who don’t know federal law it’s hard to see where the prosecution is going. On the other hand it’s interesting to see how far reaching RICO laws can be applied.
