Chris Brown has officially been charged over the alleged attack of a music producer in a UK nightclub.

As reported, the ‘Residuals’ singer was arrested after arriving in Manchester during the early hours of this morning (May 15).
He had landed in the UK via private jet just hours before.
Now, it has been confirmed that Brown has been formally charged with grievous bodily harm.
The 36-year-old is accused of cracking a bottle over the head of the producer following a dispute at Tape London nightclub in 2023.
Adele Kelly, the deputy chief crown prosecutor for CPS London North, said in a statement:
“We have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Chris Brown with one count of grievous bodily harm, contrary to section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.”
Continuing, the statement added:
“Criminal proceedings against this defendant are active [and] he has the right to a fair trial.”
As of writing, Brown is still detained in police custody.
