While being cross-examined, the singer revealed she underwent trauma treatment in early 2023 at Willow House in Arizona, where she spent 45 days working through the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The 38-year-old explained that therapists helped her recall memories as part of her healing journey and that she was not treated for sex compulsion or love addiction, contrary to what Diddy’s defense attorney Anna Estevao implied.
The ‘Official Girl’ singer explained that she used EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and received neurofeedback weekly. She said that her “brain was hooked up to a machine.”
Noting that it helped her regulate her brain waves, Cassue also noted that she was prescribed buprenorphine for opiate addiction in 2022 and is still taking the medication.
