The superstar took to Instagram to reveal a nasty cut across the bridge of her nose—an injury sustained during rehearsals for her highly anticipated hosting gig at this year’s American Music Awards.

Sharing behind-the-scenes snaps of her bruised face and an ice pack in hand, J.Lo captioned it simply:

“So… this happened.”

Thankfully, Lopez was treated by celeb-favorite Dr. Diamond and later assured fans:

“A week later and a whole lotta ice and I’m good as new.”

With just under two weeks until the big night on May 26, the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker is powering through to make her triumphant return to the AMAs stage—a full decade after she last hosted.

Just like then, it appears J.Lo is planning much more than hosting. She’ set to rock the stage.

Taking place at Las Vegas’ BleauLive Theater, the AMAs will air on CBS and Paramount+ at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT.
