Lady Gaga is no stranger to breaking records, and she has added more wins to that impressive list with her mammoth ‘Mayhem’ show in Brazil.
Forming part of the global push for her like-titled album, the seismic concert took place on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach last night (May 3) and has seen Mother Monster shatter Madonna‘s attendance record.

According to organizers, Gaga’s show drew 2.5 million people.
It means the ‘Abracadabra’ singer now holds the record for the highest-attended concert by a female artist in history – a record held by Madonna, until now.
The Queen of Pop’s 2024 show magnetized 1.6 million attendees.
Gaga’s Brazil extravaganza comes as she gears up to hit the road on the ‘Mayhem Ball’ tour.
