Keke Palmer is turning personal drama into musical empowerment with her latest track, ‘My Confession.’
Details below…
Drawing inspiration from Usher’s iconic ‘Confessions,’ the song directly addresses the 2023 Las Vegas concert incident where Usher serenaded Palmer, sparking public criticism from her ex, Darius Jackson. In the lyrics, Palmer asserts that their relationship had already ended before the concert and calls out the public scrutiny, singing:
“Made me a villain for sympathy, but you lied. But the truth is in Vegas, we was already over, boo. Because of you. F**k your projections. These are my confessions.”
The fallout from the concert led to a highly publicized custody battle over their son, Leodis, with Palmer filing for a restraining order and alleging domestic abuse. Despite the turmoil, they have since reached a joint custody agreement.
With ‘My Confession,’ Palmer reclaims her narrative, transforming past controversies into a statement of self-empowerment and resilience.

Time to grow up. These celebs and their relations. Who cares? Be a good person and but the drama.
If I were Usher I would be HELLA annoyed by this whole messy situation and I would distance myself from her and all the nonsense she brings along with her from her family and BF. Just think, he was having the comeback of a lifetime in 2023 and was just trying to make her and every other famous woman feel pretty in the audience that evening and before just for it to backfire into this. Just goes to show that you can’t be kind to everybody. Now the damn b*tch done made a song about it 2 years after the fact smh.
All these celebs are diddlers and freaks.
