Nearly 10 years separate fans of Rihanna (affectionately called the #Navy) from a new album from the Pop diva, but before they can get their hands on that project she’s hoping to tide their calls for new music over with her contribution to the forthcoming ‘Smurfs’ soundtrack.
As reported here, Rih stars as “Smurfette” in the highly anticipated feature film and leads a megawatt cast of stars that also includes James Corden, Daniel Levy, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, and many more.
Ahead of the film’s arrival to theaters on July 18, the Bajan beauty is lifting the lid on new song ‘Friend of Mine‘ – the second song from the movie’s companion album.
The follow-up to the DJ Khaled and Cardi B-led ‘Higher Love,’ hop inside to hear ‘Friend’ in full and peep its official music video.
