From ‘Love & Hip-Hop‘ to war and trading shots, the battle between former boos Papoose and Remy Ma rages on.
As reported, Remy (born Reminisce Smith) took to Instagram Live on Thursday morning (May 22) to address comments Papoose’s current girlfriend – professional boxer and mixed martial artist Claressa Shields – made the day prior about her man’s pending divorce.
“Everything is signed and ready to go,” Remy relayed in response – suggesting the hold up was due to Pap (born Shamele Mackie).

Wasting little time with his clap back, Mackie shared a screenshot on social media confirming he had already filed for divorce in New Jersey.
“The only reason I haven’t filed previously Is for the sake of my daughter. She has to go to school. When two individuals behave like civilized adults, you can get a divorce peacefully/privately and that was my intentions. But when a person wants to be bitter and clout chase, it turns into a circus which can lead to an embarrassment for my child,” he said to his 2.7 million followers on Instagram.
As if that wasn’t enough, he slammed Smith for allegedly lying and even asserted she tried to rekindle their romance as recently as this week.
“You just lied for a hour straight,” he wrote about her IG live session. “But, actions speak louder than lies. You just called me YESTERDAY trying to get back with me. I said NO!”

Doubling down, Pap took to his own IG live to not only suggest Remy is using the drama for media attention but that he’s penned most of her most memorable hits.
“Normally, I wouldn’t even entertain this, but the fact that you mentioned my children, I’m not letting that ride,” he shared before saying, “I wrote 90% of the rhymes that came out of her mouth.”
Remy didn’t take the shots quietly.
Taking to her Instagram page on Thursday night, the ‘Conceited‘ rapstress dismissed the notion she attempted to rekindle their romance.
“All Papoose care about is what yall think of him. I KNEW he was coming on here like the EMOTIONAL girl he is. And, I’ve been waiting! I would listen to ONLY papoose music 24/7 for the rest of my life before I get back with you BOZO,” she told her 10.7 million followers on the platform before relaying, “Sidebar: and you haven’t taken my daughter to or from school since last year. But that’s allegedly why u got a place so close to my crib lol. “Double Sidebar: Like I always tell you… if u miss me just say that. no need to start an unnecessary fight.”
We’re certain we haven’t seen or heard the last of this lovers’ quarrel.
This mess is embarrassing for all involved and it’s impossible to take sides but one thing I know is Papoose is lying about writing Remy’s verses cause his songs are doodoo compared to her songs even though they’re both flops
