Tory Lanez‘s legal team has yet to file a claim of new alleged evidence in court regarding the Megan Thee Stallion case.

This new alleged evidence was made public during a press conference yesterday (May 14) by Lanez’s legal team. It stated that Kelsey Harris allegedly shot Pete, and not the ‘Say It’ singer.
Even with this new evidence, the 32-year-old’s team didn’t file this claim in his appeal case, according to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff. She says:
“The claim about new evidence hasn’t been filed in the appellate case. Until it is, it’s not going to factor into anything.”
Cuniff, who is particularly notable for her extensive coverage of the case, added:

The ‘Savage’ rapper’s attorney, Alex Spiro, released a statement in response to the allegations. He states:
“Tory Lanez was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system,” he said. “This is not a political matter — this is a case of a violent assault that was resolved in the court of law.”
This all comes after Lanez was stabbed 14 times on Monday (May 12).
