Gospel monarch Cece Winans got a royal welcome to NPR’s Tiny Desk on Friday (June 13) in celebration of Black Music Month.
As reported here, the 17-time GRAMMY winner was among the star-studded lineup of performers tapped to use the platform to tribute the milestone anniversaries of their landmark albums. And, with October marking the 30th anniversary of Cece’s debut solo album – 1995’s ‘Alone in His Presence‘ – the Gospel diva was more than a fitting pick to rock an acoustic set in the NPR office.
Look inside to see how she fared with live renditions of ‘Presence’ favorites as well as hits like ‘Well Alright,’ ‘Goodness of God,’ ‘Believe for It,’ and more.

What’s Michelle Obama doing in Tiny desk?
You can play with Ce Ce if you want Ling Ling, GOD got something for you!
Hunnie, Ling Ling is not working for GOD. Ling Ling is working for DI C K!
Amen to that Josh.
Ms. Ling Ling cracks me up but nah, not Cece. We gotta sit this one out.
