It’s been nearly 15 years since K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton‘s beef started, but if the former’s recent interview on Cam Newton‘s ‘Funky Friday‘ is any evidence, the tiff show’s no signs of ending any time soon.

Michelle (born Kimberly Pate) may have spent most of her time on Newton’s podcast reflecting on her rise to fame, foray into Country music, and her personal journey with self-acceptance vs. plastic surgery, but the interview took a sharp left when the footballer asked about female rivalries in music.
Reflecting on her heavily documented beef with Tamar, Pate – while refusing to mention the ‘Love & War‘ singer by name – made clear their war was very much ongoing.
“I hate the b-tch…the muppet,” Michelle shared before detailing how Braxton continues to subliminally shade her and allegedly attempts to block her from booking shows.
Later in the conversation, Kimberly discussed the reason she thinks Tamar has issues with her.
“All because you ain’t got no edges? All because of your sister really the star? This is what this is about. All because of the man that you love tried to talk to me before you, in the middle of you, and after you. All because I’m from the country, but you are the bumpkin. It is always something with this loud-mouth coyote,” she told Cam.
The ‘Can’t Raise a Man’ hitmaker ultimately arrived to one potential resolution for this ongoing problem: squaring up.
“I’m to the point where [although] I am for women uniting and all of this…but I’ma tell you one thing: I’ma slap the f*ck out of her on sight,” K. relayed.
When Cam challenged her support of “women empowerment” and suggested physical assault wasn’t the answer, Kimberly countered.
“That is a muppet; not a woman,” the R&B diva quipped before saying, “We don’t have to resort to violence or any of that, I get that. But if [she] consistently behind closed doors (when the world isn’t watching) still poking at somebody – three years consistent – and they don’t say a word, at some point I have to defend myself.”
