Claressa Shields is making headlines – and it’s not for landing punches.

The undisputed “GWOAT” revealed on Pivot that she and rapper Papoose are gearing up to welcome their first child in 2026, she shared:
“I’m gonna have a baby next year, we already had it planned out.”

At the age of 30, she’s determined to keep her edge both inside and outside the ring, she said:
“Like, I don’t want to wait till I’m, you know, 40, 43, whatever, after my career, to have my kids. I want to be able to run at the park with my kids and stuff like that. I want to be too old.”
She credited her disciplined lifestyle for keeping her ready for anything. But it hasn’t all been smooth. Remy Ma famously called out Shields in late 2024 amid the public’s first glimpse into the couple’s romance.
However, Shields seems focused on boxing, her relationship, and becoming a future mother.
