Country superstar Morgan Wallen is no stranger to dabbling in Urban music having delivered previous hits with the likes of Post Malone, Lil Durk, MoneyBagg Yo, and others, so it’s come as no surprise he’s stomping his cowboy boots back into Hip-Hop terrain with the remix to his song ‘Miami.’
Dropped Friday (July 25), its arrival follows the original version which is found aboard Wallen’s chart-topping, 37-track last album ‘I’m the Problem‘ (released in May).
Tapping two of the genre’s heavyweights –Lil Wayne and Rick Ross – to assist, the updated edition of the tune sees the trio pay serious homage to Magic City.
“We’re real lit in Miami / I’m like Will Smith in Miami / I’m like Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy / Me and Trina almost got married, sh-t,” raps Wayne over Charlie Handsome production before Ross taps in. “Biggest boss, Ricky Rose, uh / Feelin’ good in my two seater / Top down, it’s too easy / Yacht season in Miami / Sun’s out, too breezy / Swimsuits on South Beach / Condo for my side piece.”
