In a recent conversation with CBS Mornings, the Grammy-winning MC reflected on the split, describing it as a deeply personal and painful chapter, but also one that’s pushing him toward growth. While Chance didn’t dive into all the details, he made it clear that his priority remains the couple’s two daughters, Kensli and Marli, and creating a healthy co-parenting dynamic.
The pair, who wed in 2019 after several years together, announced their separation in 2024 and finalized it this year, sparking a wave of speculation online. For the rapper, however, the focus seems firmly on healing, both personally and within his family.
He shared:
“You know, family is one of the biggest things for me, for her, for my kids, for my mom and dad. So I think the most important thing for anybody that’s having to navigate that is making sure you keep an environment for the kids where they understand that’s the priority.”
