Jeezy took the time to shout out his Uber driver for driving him 10 hours to his Baltimore show when there wasn’t any other means of transportation.

In a post on Instagram, the ‘R.I.P.’ rapper detailed how his ‘TM: 101 Live’ show almost didn’t happen due to flights to Baltimore being cancelled because of poor weather.
To make the show, his team arranged for a driver to get him there, only for another mishap to happen. The driver hit an object on the highway that punctured the gas tank. This forced the driver to stop at a gas station in South Carolina.
The ‘Go Crazy’ MC’s team then tried to arrange a jet. Yet, they could not because it was too risky due to the weather again.
At that juncture, an Uber was called to take them to a rental car place. Eight minutes into the ride, that’s when the lyricist made the Uber driver an offer. He said:
“I said, ‘Hey, we need to go to Baltimore. I asked how much he’d charge… he replied, ‘Let me think about it.’ I assured him whatever it was, he’d have it.”

Without missing a beat Tanner, the Uber driver, just kept driving. Ten hours later, with just 10 minutes to showtime, they arrived in Baltimore.
To show his appreciation and gratitude, the rapper gifted the driver a Snowman t-shirt and invited him to the show as his guest. He ended the post by stating:
“Shout out to the real MVP, my Uber driver Tanner,” Jeezy wrote. “Not all heroes wear capes…P.S. There was no way I was missing out on Baltimore.”
