After dropping what many argue was the song of the summer in ‘Outside,’ Cardi is back outside with yet another single from ‘Drama’: ‘Imaginary Playerz.’
“Cardi B, every song platinum, I’m not the other b-tch / Whatever you was gon’ pay hеr, you gotta double it / Gloryhole, b-tches don’t know who thеy f-ckin’ with,” she raps over a prominent JAY-Z sample.

Finally something fresh for her standards. No more Up recycled whatever she’s been releasing. Would have been even better without the sample, but this will do for now. Cardi’s got a lot to prove. This makes that more likely than her previous efforts. Hope she features summer and sza, their previous collab showed another perspective

Nicki is a good rapper. That’s it. She has no ear for a good song, she’s not lyrical, she has no idea what consumers wanna hear THESE DAYS and quite frankly, as a whole she’s DATED. She ain’t leagues ahead of ANYBODY. No shade. And Cardi is very much on beat here, try your shade again

Great video, & statement track but it still has LESS replay value than OUTSIDE. Cardi needs to prove she’s not a 5 #1 hit wonder, this just sounds like an ALBUM TRACK. There’s nothing catchy chorus or hook wise.
