Offset is putting his heart on the line about his brand-new track ‘Move On’ on his new album ‘Kiari’.
Full story below…
During an interview with the Associated Press, the 33-year-old opens up about the meaning behind the forthcoming cut.
Offering an unfiltered glimpse into the love, pain, and persistence that have defined his and ex Cardi B‘s rocky journey, which ended in her filing for divorce.
He said:
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be. It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on — it’s over and done with. It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
Offset is set to release his new album ‘KIARI’ on Friday, August 22.
One thing’s clear: The Migos rapper isn’t afraid to get vulnerable, and with ‘Move On’, he’s appeared willing to show that sometimes the most powerful bars come straight from the heart.
