Yazmin Lacey is back and gliding into her next chapter with grace, grit, and that signature honey-soul voice.
The Nottingham-born singer has officially announced her second studio album ‘Teal Dreams’ and she’s kicking things off with the brand new single ‘Two Steps.’
Full story below…
Produced by Miles James (who has worked with the likes of Little Simz), ‘Two Steps’ fuses Spanish guitar and sultry vocals in a rich, genre-blurring groove.
Lacey is not just a voice; she’s a creative force, singer, DJ, horticulturalist, radio presenter, and sommelier all rolled into one.
‘Teal Dreams’ builds on the magic of her 2023 debut ‘Voice Notes’, diving deep into love, ambition, and radical self-worth.
The album drops October 24, and you can watch the video for ‘Two Steps’ below.

Why are you using brown / black emojis if you don’t identify as Black? You’re obsessed
Try to be nice and inclusive to all. It’s 2025.
Anyway……
Yazmin has potential. There’s a gap in the market for someone like her, who’s authentic. I don’t think it worked in her favour to not be in her own video that much. Literally a whole minute she’s nowhere to be seen
You should work in a banana farm in Zimbabwe 🙂
