Respectfully, it truly is a flop album. Let’s call a spade a spade. She was able to gain attention due to the drama surrounding the album such as Offset divorce, Stefon relationship/baby announcement, Disses to Bia/Nicki/Jt and of course her court nonsense. She’s a libra and they are very calculated, so all this media frenzy surrounding her feeds into what she needs, which is attention because I promise you without it, no one would know she had an album coming out. Cardi was the poor man’s answer to nicki minaj the same way nicki was to Kim. The only difference is the first original 2 actually have talent and can switch up their flows/aesthetic for their craft. Am I the drama? was a solid album but nothing memorable for Hip Hop with an artist at her stature but the personality is likeable and in todays market it sells i guess…so there’s that. *shrugs*
