According to HDD, ‘Vie’ is expected to shift approximately 59,000 units by the completion of its opening sales week.
Should the prediction ring true, the project will open to the lowest first-week sales Cat’s captured this decade following ‘Scarlet’ (72,000 sold first-week) and ‘Planet HER’ (109,000 sold first-week).
On the upside, however, it will keep her Billboard 200 top 10s streak intact thanks to its arrival as the fourth consecutive LP she’s had to conquer the chart region behind ‘Scarlet’ (#4 peak), ‘Planet HER’ (#2 peak), and ‘Hot Pink’ (#9 peak).

I don’t understand why people are not appreciating this masterpiece. The record is full of instant bops and radio friendly gems. Unless the general public are trying to chase all these generic tik tok beats songs. Vie is her best album to date!
Her albums sell in the long run once she continues promoting the album it should do fine. The album is good and she did her thing.
Kinda disappointing because she’s talented asf. She’s also too all over the place. She should pick a genre and build an audience. Jacks of all trade is not a winning strategy.
I so agree that Doja is talented and that she should focus on audience building. I will admit that aurally Vie is not MY cup of tea but I AM interested in the visuals and the tour….
