The Rap titan has scored his second Emmy over the weekend, taking home the Outstanding Music Direction honor at the Creative Arts Emmys for his headline-making Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.
Lamar shared the win with music director Tony Russell.
With the win, K. Dot becomes the first Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner in Emmy history to capture this category.
The Creative Arts ceremony also crowned other entertainment standouts, including the 2024 GRAMMY Awards broadcast for choreography and ‘SNL 50: The Anniversary Special’ in multiple technical fields.
With his latest touchdown, Lamar further cements his place not just as a Rap heavyweight but as a cultural architect, proving that Hip-hop’s artistry belongs on the grandest of stages.
The victory marks his second Emmy win following a triumph as part of the Hip-Hop collective that headlined the 2022 Halftime Show.
