Cardi B‘s sophomore album ‘Am I the Drama‘ may have already etched her in Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) record books for being the fastest album certified Platinum (less than 24 hours), but now the GRAMMY winner’s one-upped herself after learning the set’s been pushed to double Platinum status.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday (September 29), the RIAA revealed Cardi’s ‘Drama’ had crossed its threshold for double Platinum certification – meaning it’s sold the equivalence of at least 2 million copies in the United States.

A star-studded affair boasting features from Janet Jackson, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Kehlani, Summer Walker, and more, ‘Drama’ was just released September 19 and currently sits at #1 on the Billboard 200 with some of the decade’s biggest first-week sales for a female Rap artist.
Thanks to the LP’s ongoing success, Cardi now joins Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj in RIAA history books as the only femcees with more than one multi-Platinum studio album.

If you think those are the only replay worthy songs then you wasn’t gone like this album regardless. Because even if I wasn’t a huge fan ain’t no way a person who actually listened with intent to give it a real chance and wasn’t closed off from the start would easily say that there weren’t any replay worthy songs. It’s tons of bops on there even for someone who isn’t Bardi Gang. Just say you’re a hater and leave it there.
