With the announcement for the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner said to be imminent, all eyes are on who will take to the grandest stage of them all.
And while both Taylor Swift and Adele‘s names have been touted by sources, a new report asserts that it will be neither of the ladies.

As two of the music’s most successful and revered names, there have been countless respective calls for the ladies to rock Halftime.
And, more recently, reports have alleged that separate talks were underway.
In a fresh update about who – or, should we say, who isn’t – in the mix for Halftime, Hits Daily Double shared:
“Speaking of Taylor, we hear she won’t be Roc-ing the Super Bowl LX Halftime show. Nor will Adele be rolling deep into Levi’s Stadium. Whoever takes the stage, with Des as QB, we’re taking the over.”
Time will tell who nabs the coveted spot for the Apple Music-powered showcase, which takes place on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
And word is that it won’t be long before the official announcement is made.

Bummer! I was hoping for Adele…. But it is a good thing that Miss Talyor light mayo not performing on Superbowl. She is everywhere and being overexposed. Well, I guess I’m rooting for my old-time crush William Hung. Would love to see my man doing she bangs on the stage.

Good news, imho. I love so many songs by Adele but I don’t think she’s a Superbowl halftime type of performer. As for Taylor… not interested. I hope they can think of someone good. Personally, I wish they’d go old school funk like Kool and the Gang & Earth, Wind, and Fire. They could bring out Bruno Mars (again) as a special guest since he’s always taking old school funk material and making it his own. On the other hand, I also still think the old school female rap legends idea was good. But I doubt they’ll use either idea. I just hope it’s not one of these new Sabrina Carpenter types, if so, I definitely won’t be watching.
They should just get cardi B and have her bring out some guests.
