Brandy and Monica are celebrating the long-awaited kickoff of their anxiously awaited ‘The Boy Is Mine Tour.’
As the overwhelmingly positive reviews continue to roll in after the show’s October 16 kickoff, the R&B divas took to social media ahead of night 2 to reflect on the warm reception of what many are billing as one of the year’s biggest concert events.

Taking to Instagram ahead of the show’s stop in Milwaukee on Friday night (October 17), Bran and Mo looked back on the success of the sold-out tour’s launch in Cincinnati the day prior.
Between sharing stories about opening night jitters and how the jaunt was 27 years in the making, the R&B divas showered each other with praise about their respective performances.
“You were phenomenal; you were ‘Vocal Bibling,'” said Mo before Brandy chimed in to say, “I don’t know if I was ‘Vocal Bibling,’ but your vocals were crazy [good].”
The ‘So Gone’ singer was particularly grateful for the compliment given a shocking diagnosis she received recently.
“I thank God for where I am [vocally] because we found out two weeks before tour that my right vocal cord has temporary paralysis,” Mo began before relaying, “That’s ok. because I still got all the songs out. Ain’t no pity around here – just prayers, patience, and work.”
Later in the short-but-sweet visual, the ladies doubled down on their hope that fans celebrate the unity of the moment and leave the divisiveness in the past.
