During an ongoing Spaces chat on X, the femcee revealed that she is readying a brand new album instead of an expanded deluxe edition or remix project.
Unpacking how she is eyeing a release for the set within a year, she told fans:
“After the tour, I want a new era. New style. New everything.
I don’t want to waste time doing a deluxe or remix album. Or use the artists I could use for a new album [on a deluxe album]. I want new everything.
I won’t talk about too much. But that’s how fast I’m moving.”
Continuing, Cardi added:
“I am very grateful to you for holding me down.”
With a seven-year gap between her first LP and sophomore set, it’s encouraging to see Belcalis keeping the pedal to the metal.
You know your albums a flop when your already talking about the next era. This girl needs music videos and hardcore choreography to make her music pop. Her lackluster art isn’t enough and she knows it. All that smoke and mirrors couldn’t save her.
