In a statement to Billboard Español, Santana praised the Puerto Rican superstar, saying:
“I congratulate and celebrate Bad Bunny’s success and his position right now with the world and with the Super Bowl.”
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer slammed the fake reports that alleged he disapproved of Bad Bunny wearing dresses as AI-generated misinformation. Santana’s manager, Michael Vrionis, echoed the concern, warning that:
“AI has accelerated the spread of misinformation, making it harder for the truth to break through the noise.”
Santana also urged fans to seek unity, not division, adding:
“Fear is what motivates ignorant people to put words in my mouth. I never said that, nor would I ever. My heart is in total harmony with Bad Bunny, and I celebrate his success, his triumph and his phenomenal achievement.”
Well, that’s that. Santana has made it clear, he stands with Benito.
