Halle Bailey took center stage at the MLB game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers and did not disappoint.
The soulful songbird took vocal flight with the U.S. National Anthem, ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at L.A.’s Dodgers Stadium.
Powered and assured, Bailey blazed with the showing, which comes ahead of the release of her debut solo album, ‘love? …or something like it’ (October 24).
She earned applause aplenty.

She was only about 85% here, but ASHANTI LVL is a definite stretch. Both Chole and Halle are capable of sounding like Beyonce or Rihanna in TONE. Listen to halle during the first quarter of this performance where she says the word “GLIMING”, she sounded like Beyonce. Also in their old song HAPPY WITHOUT ME, halle sounded like Rihanna during the “call all those other chicks, they aint missing you anyway” lyrics. Far above ASHANTI 🤣

There’s no excuse for her presence to fall this flat. Her label is dropping the ball here. They really need to invest more in her all around. From better music producers to a good stylist who can curate her look and elevate her presence.
Halle BECAUSE I LOVE YOU is proof that Halle’s music is TOP NOTCH. The Queen told them to allow the GP to catch up to them, not the other way around.
