A scary moment unfolded on the red carpet for Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of ‘Wicked: For Good’ – but her co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly stepped in to protect her.

During the Asia-Pacific premiere at Universal Studios Singapore on Thursday (November 13), Grande was greeting fans alongside Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, and director Jon M. Chu when an unidentified man jumped the barricade and rushed toward her.
According to footage circulating online, the man wrapped his arm around Grande before Erivo intervened and pushed him away as security detained the intruder. Both Erivo and Yeoh were later seen comforting the visibly shaken pop star as fans shouted to check if she was okay.
The man, identified as social media personality “Pyjama Man,” later posted a video of the stunt online, calling himself a “troll” known for disrupting celebrity events.
Despite the brief scare, the cast continued the evening’s festivities ahead of the film’s worldwide release on November 21.
