Landing at #4, ‘Son of Spergy’ opens with 43,000 equivalent album units.
From the total tally, 26,000 are streaming equivalent albums, amassed via 34.11 million streams of the LP’s tracks, while 17,000 are pure album sales.
The GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter achieves his biggest week ever in total units and pure sales.
The album follows 2023’s ‘Never Enough’ (which peaked at #14), 2019’s ‘Case Study 01’ (#17), and 2017’s ‘Freudian’ (#25).
‘Son of Spergy’ was supported by multiple formats, including five vinyl variants, two CD versions, and a digital edition.
Thus far, three tracks from the project have made moves on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart: ‘Have a Baby (With Me)’ (#17), ‘Call On Me’ (#17), and ‘Moon’ featuring Bon Iver (#16).
