Taylor Swift continues her chart domination, as her latest release, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ locks in a full month at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Full story below…
Extended its reign atop the coveted count, ‘Showgirl’ earns another 146,000 equivalent album units.
Of that sum, 121,000 units were accrued via streaming units, fueled by 157.82 million streams of the set’s tracks. Pure sales contributed 22,000, while track equivalent units added 3,000.
With the feat, Swift earns her fourth straight week at #1, bringing her career total to 90 weeks at the chart’s summit. That extends her record among soloists, ahead of Elvis Presley’s 67. Among all artists, only The Beatles rank higher, with 132 total weeks and 19 #1 albums.
‘The Life of a Showgirl’ is the second album in 2025 to spend its first month at #1, following Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’, which led for its first eight weeks.
Swift’s 2024 effort, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ notably took residence at #1 for its first 12 weeks.
Suffice it to say, the Pop force’s potency shows no signs of letting up.
