According to the filing, Richard’s team points to a reported September 2024 incident in which combs allegedly tampered with a key witness connected to her case. Prosecutors, citing a pattern of coercion and obstruction, opposed his bail; the court ultimately denied the request four times.
Richard previously testified that she and fellow artist Kalenna Harper were pressured to stay silent about alleged violence involving Cassie Ventura. Although Diddy was acquitted of racketeering and trafficking charges, he was found guilty of Mann Act violations, receiving a 50-month sentence, a $500K fine, and supervision upon release. He has since appealed and remains incarcerated.
