New Video: Christina Aguilera – ‘My Favorite Things’ (Live from the Eiffel Tower)

Published: Wednesday 26th Nov 2025 by Rashad

Christmas is coming early for fans of Christina Aguilera (affectionately called #Fighters) as the clock ticks down to the anxiously awaited premiere of her holiday concert film ‘Christmas in Paris.’

Soaring to screens on December 14, the yuletide flick comes as a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Pop diva’s first holiday album ‘My Kind of Christmas.’

When not wowing attendees with stunning renditions of ‘O Holy Night,’ ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,’ and ‘The Christmas Song,’ Aguilera took vocal flight with her take on Rodgers and Hammerstein classic ‘My Favorite Things’ from ‘The Sound of Music.’

Ahead of the arrival of ‘Paris’ to movie theaters, hop inside for a sneak peek courtesy of the official music video for ‘Things.’

    Adlibbed, lipped, rayped classic.

    Intent: sophisticated, Paris whimsy
    Givin’: can’t-stand-in-heels Sabrina

Cringe: who bops in place surrounded by an orchestra and graceful swans?!?

Grace: at least surgeons got her thigh-calf ratio right this time!

Verdict: she’s a bored Tom now that her Jerry (Britney) has retired.

      Juicée: hater, jealous much

Christina: vocals ✅ time machine ✅ looks ✅ booked ✅

Hopefully she releases a new album top end of next year. No spanish LPs

I’m a big fan. This Year & This Christmas are my favorite holiday tunes (until Brandy dropped Christmas Party For Two!) But truth is truth: she gargled, grunted, and growled on an ethereal piece of music. Contrast this with her performance of Wishing Upon A Star or Anywhere But Here. Since your gurl is in a copying mood, she shoulda emulated Ariana’s light voice here. Stylistically more appropriate AND PLEASING to the ear. As for eternal youth, it’s called a 1-MILLION-DOLLAR ENDOSCOPIC FACELIFT. Gotta face the music and admit her voice has been abused for decades due to bad technique and numerous vocal cord intubations for cosmetic surgeries, it’s a miracle she can still speak. I’m with you; she should release new music, ideally a return to R&B Pop.

I love Christina with a Rob Lewis arrangement. Love the jazzy vibes and love that Christina is doing Christina.
